Check out these crazy winch session from the Shred Town nuts with Shane Bonifay, Erik Ruck, Jimmy LaRiche, Andrew Adams, Chris Abadie and Davis Griffin. There are some bails in here that will make you think twice about trying what these guys are trying. Shred Town definitely deserves some love for the way they are pushing winching to some very entertaining levels! However, somebody needs to get these guys some helmets!

It is always fun having people visit from another country, and even better when it’s the crew from Protest Boardwear. Their wake team came to visit The Projects Wakeboard and Wakeskate Camp to get some shots for their upcoming catalog. Tearing up one thing after the next they showed expertise behind the boat, in the rail park and completely dominated the Nike 6.0 System 2.0 park. Maxine Sapulette was throwing double s-bends on the air tricks cable, Michael Timmers was ruling the boat lakes one at a time, and Sjors Van De Kerkhof hit the kicker bigger then I have ever seen anyone launch.

It was a pleasure having them visit; here are a few pictures from their stay.

My opinion…. most style of all!!!!

Afgelopen 3 dagen zijn we volle bak aan het knallen, het is best zwaar maar denk dat het resultaat top word! Mijn handen zijn op, blaren , alles ligt open.. maarja.. het is voor een goed doel! Het is niet zoals andere shoots die ik afgelopen 10 jaar heb gehad, deze fotograaf heeft er echt een andere kijk op.. Hij maakt fotos vanaf vlonders in het water, hoogwerkers en nog veel meer…
Ik kan helaas de fotos nog niet laten zien, maar deze volgen komende tijd.. We hebben een camara man hier die alles een beetje filmt, hij gaat ook een vette clip in elkaar zetten!

Nou het seizoen loopt alweer op z’n einde, wat is het weer vlug gegaan.. Al met al best een goed seizoen gehad. Top 6 op het EK gehaald, Benelux tour 2e en jah.. het NK ook 2e.. dat was erg jammer.. maar dat maken we volgend jaar wel goed! Als afsluiter van het seizoen vertrekken Sjors, Max en ik morgen naar Orlando, Florida voor een photoshoot @ the projects met Protest..!! A Little peace of heaven.. railz, sliders, kickers cables & boats… hieronder een klein filmpje van een paar goeie gasten die rippen @ the projects..

Afgelopen weekend was de Flanders open in Izegem Belgie, dit was tevens de laatste tour stop van de Lowlands tour.. Het was net als afgelopen wedstrijd in Kortgene weer een 7 min free ride session.. helemaal top dus! In de Finale ben ik uiteindelijk 3e geworden achter Quintin Delafotrie en Michael Callabert, ik had o.a een 313, blindjudge, sbend, skeezer en een wirly… In het overall klassement ben ik 2e geworden..
Dit was de laatste wedstrijd van seizoen, maar volgende week gaan we eerst nog voor een Protest photoshoot naar Orlando…!! Mooie afsluiter dusss…!!

Europes best wakeboarders gathered on the 22nd of august in Kortgene, the Netherlands to compete in the Protest Wakeboard Battle. Under sunny conditions they showed their extreme skills on the water of Het Veerse Meer. Protest teamriders Michael Timmers, Quentin Delafortrie and Ricky Lukassen made their best effort, ended high in the rankings and took a big bag of prize money home!
